The Center for Housing and New Community Economics (CHANCE)
The Center for Housing and New Community Economics (CHANCE) was established in March of 2001. CHANCE's mission is to improve and increase access to integrated, affordable, and accessible housing coordinated with, but separate from, personal assistance and supportive services.
The Center on Human Policy
The Center on Human Policy (CHP) is a Syracuse University based policy, research, and advocacy organization involved in the national movement to insure the rights of people with disabilities. Since its founding, the Center has been involved in the study and promotion of open settings (inclusive community opportunities) for people with disabilities.
The Community Imperative
In 1979, the Center on Human Policy at Syracuse University wrote The Community Imperative>, a declaration supporting the right of all people with disabilities to community living. The Center has reissued The Community Imperative in 2000 and invites endorsements from individuals and organizations.

PPIWDC Focuses on Creating Positive Impacts and Outcomes through public policy reforms, innovative programs and funding acquisition for people with disabilities and other vulnerable populations toward economic self-sufficiency, self-determination, and full community inclusion.
